So small!

This is the smallest thing I've ever made! Less than one inch long. My fingers are still sore from wrapping this one. Making thing small and delicate has been a challenge for me that I set for myself. I think about what would I make that I would wear myself...and that means it has to be small and dainty. If I were to ever wear a cross, it would be one like this

Wedding Earrings

Kathleen, I think you're going to like these....

These are the earrings I made for my mother to wear to my cousin's wedding. They matched her beautiful purple dress which had beautiful silver beading on it. I think they're also beautiful for spring with my favorite purple amethyst stones. (don't worry, they've been cleaned very well since she wore them)

LOGO

I've been thinking for a while about making some kind of logo for myself. Something that I can put on my business cards, and something that I can put as a watermark on my photos. I came up with two ideas. Both involve swirly letters intertwined. One is my initials, SB, and one is the letters from my shop, HTH. I don't know which one I want to use.

I've got an appetite for apatite

When I first ordered these oval apatite beads I was totaly and completely in love with them. They were such a beautiful shade of blue that I had to have them. However, when they arrived they were a completely different color, much more green and less intense. But I still realy like them. I had to change my plans for them though. I had planned to combine them with some lovely little green peridot beads I had thinking that the bright blue and green would go realy great together. But sine they are more green, when I paired them with the peridot I didn't like how they looked. They did look close to the aventurine drops that I had however. I also added tiny bluer apatite beads. The earrings have a nice antique look to them I think

Gimme S'more!

Hubby and I randomly decided to make s'mores last night. I forgot how incredibly good they were. 20 seconds in the microwave and gooey chocolatey deliciousness!

Lemon Drops

I've had these beautiful golden yellow citrine beads for a while and I haven't been too sure what to do with them. I knew I wanted to make something with them that would be great for summer, the color reminds me of bright sunshine. I had previously made a maching set and I realy liked it so I knew I wanted to make another one.
What I had a hard time with was these TINY pearls. They're only about 1mm and so hard to work with. They're so tiny that I would get one side of the wire wrapped on and while wrapping the other side the pearl would shatter. I'm not 100% sure that they're working in these, they kind of dissapear. I'm thinking about replacing them with my plain 2mm silver beads. Right now I'm wishing I had some 2mm pearls
